Theophilus London really impressed me with his song 'Neighbors,' and I began to listen to more of his music after that.
Theophilus London Rose Island Zip Map
My friends and I were super excited that he was coming to Lollapalooza, and we went and saw him on the first day. Theophilus came out in style, wearing a green, short-sleeved button up and gold chain around his neck. He had a huge smile on his face, looking super cool with his shades on, ready to vibe. He also had a band on the stage with him. The guitarist was dancing the whole time while he played, and he had a DJ mixing the beats.
In between songs, Theophilus would interact with the crowd and ask everyone how they were doing. For the first half of the concert, it was chill. Things started to pick up when he sang one of my favorites of his, 'Girls Girls $.' That was when everyone started getting down and really feeling the beat. Theophilus sounds so good live, and his voice is so rich.
I could listen to it all day! It was awesome that my friends and I got the opportunity to hear him live. He continued to serenade the audience with his newer tracks that were going to be on his next album. He played his new single at the time, 'Rio,' and hearing it live made me appreciate the song even more. I really enjoyed this concert, and it was nice to see a nice mix of people in the audience who came out to watch Theophilus.
