Daystar Turbo 040 40 Mhz/gpu/64k Cache/4.11rom For Mac
That's not a nubus connector, the Turbo 040 directly fits the IIci/vx/vi PDS cache slot (and other Macs, using adapters.) Available in 25MHz, 33MHz and 40MHz, with an optional FastCache Turbo 128K daughter-card, DayStar also made an FPU-less version called the 040i. I've tried installing two 32 Meg SIMMs from my Mac including two 4 Meg SIMMs in the other bank and my Color Turbo wouldn't boot. In fact the display was all screwed up (very hard to describe), but the machine purrs along just fine with two 4 Meg SIMMs from another Mac. Vast improvement in power - up to a 40MHz 68030 in the IIfx. Much more memory, with some models supporting as much as 128MB RAM (IIx, IIcx, IIci, IIfx, SE/30). Addition of an FPU (at least optional in all but the SE) and PMMU (except for the SE, LC and the first IIs).
